Decadron® - (Dexamethasone) Topical aerosol corticosteroid medication to reduce itching, redness, and swelling associated with many skin conditions such as stasis dermatitis, eczema/atopic dermatitis, contact dermatitis, and seborrhea. Note: Steroid use can cause steroid-induced rosacea, adult rosacea, and acne rosacea. Decaspray® - By Merck, (Dexamethasone) Topical aerosol corticosteroid to reduce itching, redness, and swelling associated with many skin conditions such as stasis dermatitis, eczema/atopic dermatitis, contact dermatitis, and seborrhea. Note: Steroid use can cause steroid-induced rosacea, acne rosacea, and adult rosacea. Demodex folliculorum - A cigar shaped mite which lives in the skin. It has been suggested in the past that this mite may be the cause of rosacea but studies have not a relationship with rosacea, acne rosacea, or acult rosacea. Dermacin - (Fluocinonide), a high potency corticosteroid. Also sold under the names: Fluonex®, Fluex, Dermacin, Licon, Lidex, Lidex-E. Note: Steroid use can cause steroid-induced rosacea, acne rosacea, and adult rosacea. Derma Cleanse - by Zenmed this is an acne product used internally in the treadment of acne. Derma-Smoothe/FS - (fluocinolone), a topical steroid medication used in the treatment of many skin conditions such as stasis dermatitis, eczema/atopic dermatitis, contact dermatitis and seborrheic dermatitis.Steroid use can cause steroid-induced rosacea, acne rosacea and adult rosacea. Dermatitis - a chronic skin disorder categorized by itching, rash, and a personal or family history of seasonal allergies or asthma. Alternative names: Infantile eczema; Atopic eczema; Dermatitis - atopic; Eczema. Dermatitis treatment often conflicts with rosacea, acne rosacea, and adult rosacea treatment. Doxycycline - An oral antibiotic medication which is used in the treatment of a wide variety of bacterial infections. It is often prescribed for rosacea. Drenison® - Flurandrenolide, anti-inflammatory low to medium potency topical corticosteroid medication used in the treatment of a variety of skin conditions such as stasis dermatitis, eczema/atopic dermatitis, contact dermatitis, and seborrheic dermatitis. Steroid use can cause steroid-induced rosacea, acne rosacea & adult rosacea. Dynacin® - Oral antibiotic medication used in the treatment of infections that are caused by bacteria. Belongs to a class of drugs called tetracycline antibiotics. Note: Use of oral antibiotics can cause increased sun-sensitivity to rosacea & rosacea redness and is not a long term rosacea treatment. |
