Lanacort® - Hydrocortisone - a natural chemical made by the body which reduces swelling, itching, inflammation and burning. The most common prescribed and/or over-the-counter steroid medication used for the treatment of itching and inflammation associated with a wide variety of skin conditions such as eczema, allergic skin conditions, dermatitis, and seborrheic dermatitis. Very low potency steroid. Also sold under the brand names: Cetacort®, Nutracort®, Anusol-HC®, Hytone®, Cort-Dome®, Cortenema®, Cortifoam®, Cortaind®, Locoid®, Westcort®. Note: Steroid use can cause steroid-induced rosacea.

Laser surgery - a type of surgery that uses special light beams instead of instruments for surgical procedures. (The word "laser" stands for "Light Amplification by the Stimulated Emission of Radiation").

Licon - (Fluocinonide), a high potency corticosteroid medication used for the treatment of inflammation caused by a number of conditions such as allergic reactions, eczema, and psoriasis. Also sold under the brand names: Fluonex®, Dermacin, Fluex, Lidex, Lidex-E. Note: Steroid use can cause steroid-induced rosacea.

Locoid® - (Ferndale), - Hydrocortisone - a natural chemical made by the body which reduces swelling, itching, inflammation and burning. The most common prescribed and/or over the counter steroid used for the treatment of itching and inflammation associated with a wide variety of skin conditions such as eczema, allergic skin conditions, dermatitis, and seborrheic dermatitis. Lotrisone® - by Schering, (Clotrimazole, Betamethasone dipropionate), cream and lotion contain a combination of a steroid (betamethasone) and an antifungal drug (clotrimazole). It is used in the treatment of skin infections caused by fungus, such as athlete's foot, jock itch, and ringworm of the body. Note: Steroid use can cause steroid-induced rosacea.
