How you process and manage stress can have a major impact on your life. Surveys have found that rosacea sufferers are most often a Type A personality.
The personality traits of a Type A person include those who are organized; high-achievers who tend to excel at multi-tasking and time management. Type A people are sensitive, caring, ambitious, truthful and direct. They can also be impatient, driven and competitive. These traits can all lead to one who experiences stress either by the tasks they take on or by their inability to do more than may be required.
How we handle and process stress can have a direct impact on our immune system. If we can’t regulate the way our body processes stress, we may display symptoms of flushing, dehydration, gastric issues, rosacea, acne or even hives.
We can’t always change our personality but we can change the way we handle stress. Take time to stop, breathe deeply and drink a glass of water. Just that few minutes can give your body the chance to regulate your stress levels and allow you to manage your time more efficiently.
